World Military Expenditure in 2011 Remains Stable: Global Watchdog

| Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- World military expenditure last year amounted to 1.74 trillion U.S. dollars, almost the same level as 2010, the Stockholm International Peace and Research Institute (SIPRI) said on April 17. The U.S., the world's biggest military spender, had a budget of 711 billion U.S. dollars and accounted for 41 percent of the world's total. |
