A congratulatory message to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was read out first.

Speakers at the meeting referred to the paternal loving care shown by Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and Koreans in Japan.

They said that the exploits performed by the peerlessly great men in the history of the movement of Koreans in Japan are kept deep in the hearts of the compatriots, adding that they are living with pride as overseas citizens of the DPRK even in an alien land.

They expressed pledge to develop the university as the only base for training the new core members to firmly guarantee the issue of new generation of Chongryon, issue of inheritance under the leadership of Kim Jong Un true to the behests of Kim Jong Il.

Meanwhile, an event of compatriots under Chongryon in Aichi was held at Aichi Korean Middle and High School on April 15 to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung.
