Meetings were separately held at the Women's Hall and the Central Hall of Workers on Monday.

Labor Hero Kim Ok Sun said at the meeting with members of the women's union that President Kim Il Sung saw to it that women workers had recreation abroad during the days of hard-fought war, calling for taking good care of their health despite the difficult situation of war.

Ri Un Gyong, vice-director of Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School who is wife of hero Kil Yong Jo, said that leader Kim Jong Il gave her great favor, saying that she looks fine as she wears military uniform after her husband died and the Korean women have had strong will from the olden times.

Pak Yu Sun, member of the women's union in Chukjon-dong No. 1, Mangyongdae District, told a touching story, deeply impressing the participants. She said that there was no end in the loving care shown by the peerlessly great men as they let her son, who died in the course carrying out his combat duty, live an eternal life by putting him forward as hero of the DPRK, naming the school attended by him as Kim Ju Hyok Secondary School and building his bust.

Hero of the DPRK Pak Chan Su, lecturer of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, said at the meeting with members of the trade unions that the brave soldiers of the People's Army humbled the U.S. imperialists who were boasting of being "the strongest" in the world and brought about a historic victory under the leadership of Kim Il Sung in the period of the past Fatherland Liberation War.

He said that the People's Army is fully displaying its might as it has held Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un, heaven-sent great man of Mt. Paektu, in high esteem.

He called for wiping out rat-like Lee group in this land and sky and accomplishing the historic cause of national reunification.
