Chinese Artiste with Special Memory of DPRK

| Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- Liu Xiaona is an introducer of the Chinese art troupe (Song and Dance Ensemble of the General Political Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army) which attended the 28th April Spring Friendship Art Festival in Pyongyang. She took part in the festival several times and was honored to give a performance in the presence of leader Kim Jong Il in April 2002. Kim Jong Il met leading actors and actresses of the ensemble and had a photo session with them. She would never forget the happy day all her life, Liu Xiaona told KCNA. She further said: It is my high honor to have participated in the significant festival held to mark the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung, who built a wonderful country where the people lead a happy life. Whenever I come to the DPRK, I feel particular kindness and deep friendship. We revere President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. I hope that the friendship between the army and people of the two countries will be inherited down through generations and remain forever. |
