The general secretary of the Central Committee of the Socialist Party of Bangladesh said in a statement on April 18 that Kim Jong Un's election as first secretary of the WPK and first chairman of the NDC of the DPRK is a historic event of great significance in strengthening and developing the WPK and carrying out Songun revolution.

The general secretary expressed the conviction that the service personnel and people of the DPRK would achieve greater successes in the struggle for building a great prosperous powerful nation and achieving independent and peaceful reunification of the country under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The chairman and secretary general of the Peruvian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism said in an article posted on Internet website in their joint name on April 14 that holding leader Kim Jong Il in high esteem as general secretary of the WPK and chairman of the NDC of the DPRK forever and electing Kim Jong Un as first secretary of the WPK and first chairman of the NDC are a striking demonstration that the socialist cause of Juche is being steadfastly carried forward in the DPRK.

The former chairman of the Bolivia-DPRK Friendship Society said in an e-mail sent to the DPRK embassy on the same day the election of Kim Jong Un as first secretary of the WPK and first chairman of the NDC of the DPRK is an event that pleased all members of the society, wishing him greater success in his work.
