Li Yuanchao recollected with deep emotion his visit to the DPRK last year during which he was received by leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Noting that the Fourth Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea decided to hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem as general secretary of the WPK forever and the 5th session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly decided to hold him in high esteem as chairman of the National Defence Commission forever, he said this was a manifestation of the firm will of the party and people of the DPRK to successfully accomplish the socialist cause under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, true to the behests of Kim Jong Il.

The Sino-DPRK friendship provided and cultivated by the leaders of elder generations of the two countries is deeply rooted in the minds of the two peoples in the course of the struggle against their joint enemies, he said, adding:
