The Guinean Preparatory Committee for Celebrating the Centenary of the Birth of President Kim Il Sung and the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea in a joint special bulletin on April 3 edited an article titled "Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung".

The President hewed out a new path of the Korean revolution, organized the armed struggle against Japanese imperialism to achieve the historic cause of Korea's liberation, founded the DPRK and turned it into a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, the bulletin said.

He had distinguished prestige in the world political circle and enjoyed boundless reverence of the progressives for his great feats for the Korean revolution and the human cause of independence, it noted.

He set forth the plan on global independence, led the world people advocating independence to get firmly united to struggle against imperialism and dominationism and greatly contributed to strengthening the socialist movement and the non-aligned movement, it pointed out.
