Present at the wreath-laying ceremonies were officials of local party and power bodies and working people's organizations, servicepersons of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, people from all walks of life and school youth and children.

Wreaths were laid in the name of local party and power bodies, working people's organizations, units of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, institutions of science, education, literature and arts, public health and media, industrial establishments, farms, schools, etc. Flowers were also laid before statues of martyrs, martyrs' cemeteries, the monuments to fallen fighters of the KPA and martyrs' graves.

The participants paid silent tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the liberation and prosperity of the country and the sacred cause for achieving the reunification of the country.
