At a time when celebrations took place in the motherland on the occasion of the Day of the Sun, the Lee group let loose a spate of vituperation, kicking off an anti-DPRK campaign without hesitation, the statement said, adding:

Traitor Lee was so imprudent as to speak ill of the celebrations of the Day of the Sun in an internet and radio speech on April 16. Not content with this, the traitor took issue with the slogan "Let Us Live Our Own Way!"

This is the last ditch efforts of those who were shocked by the might of the single-minded unity of the DPRK and enormous military potentials demonstrated through the celebrations of the Day of the Sun and the desperate bid to quiet the cheering storms sweeping the world.

The officials of the Association and all the Koreans in China would work hard to wipe out the Lee group from the stage of the history together with all the compatriots aspiring after the country's reunification.

The Federation of Koreans in Australia issued a statement titled "We denounce the Lee Myung Bak 'government' for its vicious act of hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK" on April 21.

The responsibility of the prevailing serious situation entirely rests with Lee, the statement said, urging the Lee "government" to opt to retract the confrontation-minded measures at an early date and realize contact and exchange with the north.

Cooperation between the north and the south is the only shortcut to the country's reunification, the statement concluded.
