Beijing, April 26 (KCNA) -- Liu Weimin, spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at a press conference on Wednesday denounced a group of Japanese politicians for visiting "Yasukuni Shrine" recently. Liu said that the issue of visit to the shrine is a matter of how Japan deals with its history of militarist aggression as it is related to the feelings of broad strata of people of those countries which suffered from it. China has consistently held that Japan should settle this issue prudently and properly in the spirit of foreseeing future, drawing from the lesson taught by history, the spokesman stressed. |
