Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes this in a bylined article.

To eliminate the Lee group is the best way of protecting the dignity of the nation, a prerequisite for independent reunification, peace and prosperity and an indispensable requirement for carrying out progressive reforms in south Korean society, the article notes, and goes on:

The group of traitors totally negated the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, landmarks for reunification and prosperity in the new century, and rushed headlong into confrontation, war and tension, instead of working for inter-Korean reconciliation, unity and cooperation.

It went the lengths of escalating the confrontation with compatriots by hurting the dignity of the DPRK supreme leadership.

A series of hideous provocations committed by it up to this date from late in 2011 prove that the group of traitors leave no means untried to realize its scenario to escalate the confrontation, utterly indifferent to the reunification and prosperity of the nation.

History teaches us that if the north-south joint declaration supported by all Koreans is to be implemented it is necessary to eliminate the Lee group of traitors, to begin with. The root cause of misfortune should be removed to save the nation from disaster.

The situation goes to prove that if the south Koreans are to realize their long-cherished desire, they should wipe out the rat-like Lee group to the last man.

It is the most urgent call of the times and the nation to eliminate the Lee group.
