The message said he was very pleased to extend warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un on behalf of the people and government of Benin on the occasion of April 15, 2012, the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung, the eternal President of the Korean people.

Availing himself of the special opportunity of celebrating the anniversary together with the Korean people, the president affirmed his strong intention to work together with Kim Jong Un to boost and vitalize the relations of friendship and cooperation that link the two peoples and the two states.

Hoping for the successful celebrations, the message wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and the great and friendly Korean people peace and prosperity.

It expressed the highest consideration to Kim Jong Un, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission.
