He said in his message that he was greatly pleased to send sincere congratulations to Kim Jong Un on behalf of himself and government and people of Bangladesh on his election as first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.

He expressed the firm belief that the favorably developing bilateral relations will be activated in the future.

He sincerely wished Kim Jong Un happiness in good health and comfort and the people of the DPRK sustained peace and prosperity.
