Electronic displays portraying the old home of President Kim Il Sung in Mangyongdae and letters "1912-2012" with the rising sun in the background were seen at the venue. Also standing there were electronic displays introducing world horticultural expos and international floricultural shows which awarded best prizes to Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia as well as flower festivals and exhibitions held in the DPRK and various countries.

Hundreds of potted Kimilsungias and Kimjongilias were on view, fascinating the visitors.

Present at the opening ceremony on invitation were figures and citizens from all walks of life in Dalian City, the consul general and members of the Consulate General of the DPRK in Shenyang and the delegation of the Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Committee of Korea.

A lot of Dalian citizens visited the exhibition during the period.
