Colorful events included meetings, receptions, remembrance meetings, lectures, reading sessions that took place in Chile, Mongolia, Zimbabwe, Mali, Sweden, Spain and Slovakia from April 12 to 16.

They were attended by personages of various circles and other people in their respective countries.

The first secretary of the Communist Party of Chile (Proletarian Action) at a celebration meeting referred to the fact that Kim Il Sung turned the DPRK into a socialist state centered on the popular masses, a politico-ideological power and military power to which the whole world looks up.

The vice-chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia said at a reception that the Korean people were significantly celebrating the Day of the Sun, proud of having achieved great successes in building a socialist thriving nation.

The secretary general of the Malian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea said in a lecture that Kim Il Sung's august name was shining as a symbol of the struggle for national liberation, the era of independence, noble virtues and sense of obligation and an eternal banner for victory.

A letter and congratulatory message to the dear respected Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held in Zimbabwe and Spain.
