A celebration was held in Ibaragi Prefecture on April 22.

Ri Yong Hun, chairman of the Ibaragi Prefectural Headquarters of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), said that Koreans of the elder generation made a history of the Ibaragi movement of Koreans in Japan, underscoring the need for the younger generation to firmly hold the baton of patriotism carrying forward their will under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

An art performance celebrating the Day of the Sun was given by students and teachers of Korean primary and middle school in Ibaragi.

Colorful events including "Let's sing of pride of compatriots in Ibaragi" on the same day convinced the compatriots in the prefecture of a bright future of the prospering Korean society.

A grand festival of compatriots in Yamaguchi Prefecture and a flower event of compatriots in Central Nishi Tokyo took place at Korean primary and middle school in Yamaguchi and Korean primary and middle school No. 1 in Nishi Tokyo on April 15 on the Day of the Sun.
