In his early years President Kim Il Sung ushered in a new era of history, the era of Juche for realizing independence of the broad working masses, including workers, peasants and intellectuals, under the banner of the Juche idea.

Even in the difficult period of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle he saw to it that May Day was significantly celebrated, and attended a Pyongyang mass rally, held to mark the first May Day in the liberated country, to congratulate the workers and encourage them to turn out in building a new country.

In the postwar period he called on the workers at the Kangson Steel Complex to kindle the torch of the Chollima Movement. He had wisely led the working people to perform great feats in socialist construction in every period and stage of the Korean revolution.

Leader Kim Jong Il put the workers forward as the main force in building a socialist economic power, saying that the present world belongs to the working class. Under the deep loving care and trust of the leader, who trained ordinary workers to be heroes of the times and performers of feats, the Korean workers could bring about a fresh upsurge in the revolution and construction with their indomitable mental power.

The history of guidance by the great persons who put forward the working masses as the master of the country is given steady continuity under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Regarding the working class as the core force in building a thriving country, Kim Jong Un has given ceaseless field guidance to major industrial establishments so that the workers can fully play their role as forerunners of the era.

He provided a grand fireworks display on May Day, and would unreservedly take greasy hands of workers, calling them his comrades-in-arms, whenever visiting factories.

The working people in the DPRK are now filled with the will to strive for victory in the cause of building a thriving nation in hearty response to his call "Forward towards the final victory!"
