Lee Myung Bak Group's Moves for Confrontation with DPRK under Fire

Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on April 23 in support of the statement of a spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army issued on Apr. 18. The France-Korea Friendship Association also issued a statement on April 24 to denounce the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors for straining the tensions of the Korean Peninsula to the extremes.

Unpardonable is the Lee Myung Bak fascist regime's act of daring to speak ill of the celebrations of the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung, the joint statement said, adding that the Lee group of traitors is facing worsening crisis as it again slandered the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK.

The south Korean authorities are the heinous fascist dictatorial regime organized by the U.S. imperialists, it said, noting that the DPRK is the only legitimate state which guarantees the happiness and equal life of the Korean people.

The French association in the statement bitterly condemns the Lee Myung Bak conservative regime for inciting the north-south confrontation, indifferent to detente and reconciliation, and extremely aggravating the situation on the Korean Peninsula. It urged Lee to apologize for this to the Korean people.
