S. Korean Authorities Accused of Reneging on Their Promise

| Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The Citizens Federation for Economic Justice in south Korea Tuesday held a press conference denouncing the "government" authorities for seeking to import American beef infected with mad cow disease without let-up, according to south Korean MBC. The Federation accused the "government" of refusing to keep the promise it had made four years ago, saying that it would halt the import of American beef in case mad cow disease occurs in the U.S. The organization strongly demanded an immediate stop to the beef import for people's health. |
