Talks between SPA Chairman and President of Lao National Assembly Held

| Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- Talks were held between Choe Thae Bok, chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the DPRK, and Pany Yathortou, president of the Lao National Assembly, at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Thursday. Present at the talks from the DPRK side were Hong Son Ok, vice-chairwoman of the SPA, Song Ja Rip, chairman of the DPRK-Laos friendship parliamentary group, and officials concerned and from the Lao side the members of the delegation of the Lao National Assembly and Kiettisak Keobanhdith, Lao ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy. At the talks both sides exchanged views on the matter of boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the two assemblies and the issues of mutual concern. The talks proceeded in a friendly atmosphere. |
