In an article titled "People's Army" the bulletin said that the 80-year-long history of the KPA shows well that it is the people's army.

It went on:

The Korean People's Revolutionary Army (the predecessor of the KPA) which was founded on April 25, 1932 by President Kim Il Sung, the founder of socialist Korea, waged the grim anti-Japanese war to liberate Korea on August 15, 1945 and afterwards developed to be the regular armed forces.

The KPA, together with the Korean people, displayed the heroic feats in beating back the aggressors in the Korean war ignited by the U.S. imperialists.

It is regarding it as one of its most important tasks to struggle for the happiness of the people.

KPA soldiers are startling people by ensuring the unimaginable speed and highest quality in each major construction site across the country at a time when the building of a thriving nation is progressing apace.
