Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- The dear respected Kim Jong Un received a letter from the participants in an inaugural meeting of the Japanese Society for the Study of Kimilsungism and Kimjongilism on May 3. The letter said: We formed the new Society for Study of Kimilsungism and Kimjongilism and decided to conduct activities, holding the august names of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il in high esteem in the future. The President founded the Juche idea, enabling the exploited and oppressed popular masses to emerge masters of the world and their destiny and enjoy their independent and creative lives, while protecting their noblest dignity. Kim Jong Il, remaining loyal to the President all his life, formulated the President's revolutionary idea as Kimilsungism, laid a firm groundwork for building a thriving socialist nation by dint of Songun politics and successfully solved the issue of succession to the revolution so as to accomplish the cause of Juche. Kim Jong Un more correctly estimated Kim Jong Il's feats on the highest plane, formulated the guiding idea of the Workers' Party of Korea as Kimilsungism and Kimjongilism and clarified that the work for modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism and Kimjongilism as a supreme programme of the party with the centenary of the birth of the President as an occasion, More than three decades have passed since the formation of the Japanese Society for the Study of Kimilsungism, the group for the study of the Juche idea going by the august name of the President. Since the President passed away, we have boundless reverence for Kim Jong Il, but could not realize our wish to officially use Kimilsungism and Kimjongilism in our designation. Words fail how to express our thanks to Kim Jong Un who formulated Kimilsungism and Kimjongilism, our long-cherished desire, and clarified their profound meanings. Only victory will be in store for us advancing under the banner of Kimilsungism and Kimjongilism. The participants in the letter vowed to devote themselves to independence of Japan and global independence through their activities to deeply study and widely disseminate the Juche idea. |
