Enjoying it were officials, labor innovators, scientists and technicians of units including the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill and the Pyongyang 326 Electric Wire Factory. Also among the audience were officers and men of the Korean People's Army and journalists.

Put on the stage were colorful numbers including mixed sextet and chorus "May, Month of Victory", chorus "Endless Yearning", male duet "This Honor of Raftsmen Is Boundless", female solo and chorus "We Will Follow with Single Mind" and chorus "Let Us Meet at the Front".

The performers sang in praises of the longing for President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the joy and optimism of the working people who have performed feats in the drive for the prosperity of the country.
