Displayed in the upper part of each stamp are Korean and English letters reading "Games of the XXX Olympiad London 2012" and pictures of DPRK flag, the Olympic flag and emblem of the Olympiad.

Depicted in the stamps are players of athletics, judo, gymnastics and swimming.

The Olympiad will take place in London from July 27 to August 12 this year.

The DPRK has been qualified for such events of the forthcoming Olympiad as women's football, weightlifting, marathon, wrestling, table-tennis, archery, shooting, judo and diving.
