According to the report, all the service personnel and people of the DPRK significantly celebrated the centenary of the President's birth as the greatest holiday in the nation's history.

The events held to mark the Day of the Sun demonstrated before the whole world the tremendous might and invincibility of Songun Korea where they formed a harmonious whole with the great leaders.

There took place the fourth Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea and the fifth Session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK. They clearly showed the firm will of the WPK, the service personnel and people to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, holding Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in high esteem for all ages.

The statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il standing on Mansu Hill were unveiled with splendor in the presence of Kim Jong Un and the mosaics depicting the smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il were erected on Jangdae Hill as a monument to the immortality of the leaders.

Mangyongdae where Kim Il Sung was born was successfully spruced up as the place dear to the Korean people and the world progressives.

A national meeting and a military parade were significantly held to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Kim Il Sung in the presence of Kim Jong Un and the Exhibition of Arms and Equipment of the Korean People's Army was opened to visitors.

The speech made by Kim Jong Un at the military parade deeply touched the whole nation and the rest of the world.

Celebration meetings took place in all provinces, cities (districts), counties and complexes and firework galas in Pyongyang, Phyongsong, Sinuiju and other cities.

Order of Kim Il Sung was awarded to Kim Jong Il, commemorative coins were issued and 100 volumes of "Complete Collection of Kim Il Sung's Works", a library of the Juche idea, and other books dealing with their personality as great men published on the same occasion.

The letters "Comrade Kim Il Sung, Our Eternal Leader" were carved on a rock near the Pakyon Falls in Kaesong City while mosaics portraying the three commanders of Mt. Paektu erected in Sinuiju City, North Phyongan Province.

Colorful events took place in Pyongyang and localities to celebrate the 100th Day of the Sun such as Kimilsungia Festival, national photo exhibition, national book exhibition, oratorical meeting and Korean stamp exhibition.

The Unhasu Orchestra gave a performance on the occasion of the opening of the People's Theatre which was built as a gift of leader Kim Jong Il to the Korean people greeting the 100th Day of the Sun and a grand performance celebrating the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung was given at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium.

Remembrance meetings and art performances of working people's organizations, school youth and children and kindergarteners across the country were held. A national meeting of joint organizations of the Korean Children's Union took place here.

The Mangyongdae Prize Sports Festival and other sports events took place and evening galas of youths and students, mass gymnastic displays and the April Holiday Food Festival were held in Pyongyang and local areas, adding to the festive mood.

Labor gifts were presented on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the President.

The Huichon Power Station went operational and the Tanchon Port was completed.

The second-phase project for the reclamation of the Kwaksan Tideland and the Nampho-Pyongyang sea water pipeline were completed. The Taekwon-Do Complex with its Korean-style gabled roof was successfully built in Chongchun Street of Pyongyang.

The 618 Cement Factory, Hwangbong Mine and many other objects were built on a modern basis and went operational. Production processes for improving the standard of people's living have been newly established at many factories.

There appeared skyscrapers in the Mansudae area of the capital city and Mansugyo Meat and Fish Shop and Mirae Shop were built on the bank of the River Pothong.

The Kangsong Health Complex to be proud of in the world sprang up in a local machine plant.
