For the recent 3 or 4 years military exercises of children have been drastically increased and even kindergarten children have been mobilized in those exercises, the statement said, and went on:

Those military exercises staged under the pretext of "education in security" included "education instilling hostility toward enemy into children", experiencing and live firing exercises with the use of lethal weapons and military equipment, special exercises, etc.

Such exercises conflict with the convention on children rights as they violate the rights of the children.

Even the UN branded those exercises as illegal and urged the south Korean authorities to immediately stop them, the statement noted.
