The prevailing grave situation was created by Lee Myung Bak and his paid anti-DPRK organizations' acts of hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership and social system of the DPRK, said the statement.

It branded the Lee regime as the arch criminal that put the situation into the worst phase. It went on:

Unless the group of traitors is punished, the Koreans can never live in peace.

The Lee regime should be brought down at an early date for the peace and reunification of the country as it is running recklessly, seized with extreme hostility toward fellow countrymen.

It is as clear as daylight that if something happens on the Korean Peninsula, Lee will be held wholly responsible for it.

The statement urged Lee to make an immediate apology to the people and step down, though belatedly.
