On display in the venue were works of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, photos showing their immortal revolutionary careers and exploits and fine arts pieces associated with creative skill of the Korean people.

Speeches were made at the opening ceremony.

The speakers said that the undying feats performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in strengthening the China-DPRK friendship would remain forever in the hearts of the peoples of the two countries.

Saying that the exhibition would contribute to deepening mutual understanding of the peoples of the two countries, they reiterated their will to make positive contribution to boosting the DPRK-China friendship.
