The north-south relations are facing the worst crisis and the situation of the Korean Peninsula is inching close to an unpredictably serious phase of confrontation, the statement said, adding:

The corrupt Lee "government" totally denied the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and has staged north-targeted war exercises and resorted to fascist suppression, driving the north-south relations into the worst phase.

Worse still, it perpetrated such hideous provocations as defaming the events held in the north in celebration of the Day of the Sun and seriously hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the nation.

Unpardonable are crimes perpetrated by the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors hell-bent on the moves to block reunification and escalate confrontation in violation of even elementary etiquette and morality.

It is the way of preventing a war and achieving independent reunification, peace and prosperity to decisively foil the hideous provocations of the ultra-right conservative forces in the south.

The Japan Regional Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration will conduct more positive practical actions to smash the anti-reunification forces' moves of escalating confrontation with fellow countrymen and igniting a war and achieve the country's peace and independent reunification in line with the north-south joint declarations, the statement declared.
