Pyongyang, May 11 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held at University of Abuja on May 2 to hear a report of the delegation of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea on its visit to the DPRK. It took part in the World Congress on the Juche Idea and other events held in celebration of the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun). The meeting was attended by personages of the Nigerian Group for the Study of Kimjongilism, the Nigerian Group for the Study of the Songun Politics, the Nigerian Group for the Study of the Juche Philosophy and other Juche idea study groups and masses. Alhassan Mamman Muhammad, chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, noted that the DPRK celebrated the Day of the Sun with splendor, adding: I was fortunate to see the noble image of the dear respected Kim Jong Un and listen to his speech made at the military parade. Kim Jong Un in his speech said that the single-minded unity and the invincible military power plus industrial revolution in the new century precisely mean a thriving socialist state. The speakers at the world congress said that the Juche idea serves as a recognized guiding idea representing the present era and the whole historical era of mankind as the idea clearly indicates the road to be followed by humankind. They extended the highest glory to President Kim Il Sung, founder of the Juche idea, and leader Kim Jong Il who developed it in depth. The Korean people who have carried on revolution under the steersmanship of the great leaders unanimously revered by the world will dynamically advance along the road of independence, Songun and socialism under the leadership of Kim Jong Un. It is the main theme of the above-said celebrations that only when a nation and country have an outstanding leader can they enjoy dignity and prosperity. |
