Protest in Okinawa

| Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- A demo took place in Yonaguni, Okinawa prefecture, Japan on May 6 in protest against the authorities' move for the reinforcement and deployment of armed forces. The demo was attended by union members and people of various social standings. Chanting "No deployment of 'SDF'" and other slogans, the demonstrators condemned the authorities for deploying there a unit of the Ground "Self-Defense Force" under the pretext of bolstering up the defense capability. |
