Acryl Painting Portraying Kim Jong Il Exhibited at Industrial Art Centre
Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- The State Industrial Art Centre in the capital city of Pyongyang boasts of a large-sized acryl painting in its central hall.

The painting "Leader Kim Jong Il visiting his old home in Mt. Paektu" is 4.3 meters high and 3.4 meters wide.

It was created by experienced artists of the Mansudae Art Studio.

The painting portrays Kim Jong Il in casual padded clothes standing in front of his old home.

Ri Song Gun, section chief of the Korean Painting Production Company of the studio, told KCNA:

"We created the painting, driven by the ardent yearning for the leader.

The painting strikingly represents the Korean people's will to eternally hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem and remain faithful to his cause."

Yun Ok Myong, head of a work-team at the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory, said:

"The painting reminds me of leader Kim Jong Il in his lifetime with a broad smile on his face."

The masterpiece splendidly depicts snow-covered Jong Il Peak and the snow scene around the old home with skilled techniques.
