He defined Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the guiding ideology of the WPK and declared that to imbue the whole society with Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is the highest programme of the WPK.

The WPK had so far taken Kimilsungism as its guiding ideology. In February 1974 General Secretary Kim Jong Il formulated the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung as Kimilsungism and set forth the programme on modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism.

Kimilsungism is the integral system of idea, theory and method of Juche.

The leader developed the President's idea of attaching importance to military affairs into the idea of Songun revolution and theory of Songun politics and advanced the theory of building a thriving socialist nation, remarkably enhancing the attraction and vitality of Kimilsungism.

That is why the Korean people have long combined Kim Il Sung's idea with Kim Jong Il's, calling them Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and recognizing it as the guiding ideology of the WPK.

However the leader sternly prohibited his name from being associated with the guiding ideology of the WPK, saying that nothing would be seen other than Kimilsungism, no matter how one delves into Kimjongilism.

Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is an integral system of the idea, theory and method of Juche, and a great revolutionary ideology representative of the Juche era.

Modeling the whole society on it is a revolutionary inheritance of the imbuing of the whole society with Kimilsungism and its development onto a new, higher stage.

Thanks to Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the WPK could lead the Korean revolution only to victory without any error concerning the line.

The WPK and the Korean people will as ever hold high the great banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism to successfully accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche and the cause of building a thriving socialist nation under the seasoned leadership of Kim Jong Un.
