Koreans in Canada Denounce Lee Myung Bak's Reckless Remarks

Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- The Canada Regional Committee of the Overseas Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration and the Canada Regional Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification Sunday made public a joint statement in denunciation of the reckless remarks made by traitor Lee Myung Bak slandering the legitimate satellite launch and nuclear test of the DPRK.

The statement accused Lee of blustering that the north's nuclear deterrence for self-defence is intolerable.

The south Korean authorities staged ceaseless large joint military exercises with the U.S., it said, adding: Not content with this, they hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership and system of the DPRK and defamed even the celebrations of the Day of the Sun, driving the situation on the Korean Peninsula to an extreme pitch of tension.

Lee Myung Bak should own responsibility for pushing the situation to the brink of war and make apology for this.

It demanded Lee stop the suppression of the South Headquarters of Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification struggling for independent and peaceful reunification of the country and implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
