Palestinian Leader Accuses Israel of Destroying Confidence in Peace

| Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- A senior Palestinian leader accused Israel at the United Nations of promoting measures to destroy the confidence with daily arrests, the construction of settlements and the siege of Gaza, it was reported on Thursday. The leader said that those acts by Tel Aviv completely erode the efforts to achieve a two-state solution (one Israeli and one Palestinian) to the conflict in the Middle East. It is clear that Israel has no intention to end its occupation of Palestinian territories and thus expands its colonization in those lands, he stated. |
