At a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the Jordanian minister stressed that Jordan is directly concerned about the final status issues of Palestinians, including the issues of refugees, water security and Jerusalem.

The minister added that Jordan will continue to exert efforts to enable the creation of an independent Palestinian state within the borders of 1967 with east Jerusalem as its capital based on the Arab peace initiative and the international resolutions.
