They said that the prosecution and Intelligence Service define the north as an enemy, but they have made joint efforts to achieve reunification through concerted efforts of the south, north and overseas sides, regarding the north as a member of the same nation in order to co-exist and live together with it for future.

They declared that all their activities were conducted to implement the south-north joint declarations.

Chairman Ri Kyu Jae in his final statement said that now the spirit of achieving peaceful reunification together with the north is mounting across south Korea.

But, the Lee Myung Bak regime intentionally denied the south-north joint declarations for national reconciliation and unity and pushed the south-north relations to the brink of war, he said, and went on:
