Attending the event were health workers of the Ministry of Public Health and the province and members of the missions of several international organizations including the World Health Organization.

There was a performance by a hygienic information team before a workshop on indoor insecticides spray.

The participants did the work of clearing habitats of mosquitoes with farmers.

They watched health workers and people there engaged in spraying insecticides in dwelling houses and protection against malaria at hospital.

World Malaria Day was also marked in several areas including Sokgyo-ri in Rinsan County.
