Present there were the president and the members of the Association. The staff members of the DPRK mission in Paris were present on invitation.

Benua Kenedei, vice-president of the Association, said he took part in the celebrations of the centenary of Kim Il Sung's birth and was honored to see the dear respected supreme leader Kim Jong Un and hear his speech.

He went on:

At the 4th Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea and the fifth session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly leader Kim Jong Il was held in high esteem as eternal general secretary of the WPK and chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and Kim Jong Un was elected first secretary of the WPK and first chairman of the NDC. The statues of the peerlessly great men were magnificently built on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang.

All the celebrations including the April Spring Friendship Art Festival, evening of fireworks and the evening gala of the youth and students were held on a high level.

During the visit I could deeply feel again the Korean people's boundless reverence for Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, their indomitable will to carry forward to the end the cause of the preceding leaders rallied close around Kim Jong Un and the invincible might of the DPRK.

We will more actively conduct solidarity activities in the future to support the Korean people's just cause for national reunification and building a thriving nation.
