It is the wish and will of all the service personnel and people to accomplish the behests and cause of leader Kim Jong Il without fail, holding him in high esteem forever as the leader of the Workers' Party of Korea and people and fulfill the sense of comradely obligation towards the leader to the last, the editorial notes, and goes on:

More ardent loyalty has been expressed by all the people since the big loss to the nation. This clearly proves how genuine and unshakable the service personnel and people's sense of comradely obligation towards Kim Jong Il is.

Given full play among the people are beautiful traits of devoting their all to society, the collective and comrades.

The army and people of the DPRK are genuine comrades-in-arms who always share destiny shoulder to shoulder not only in the defence of the country but in socialist construction.

The service personnel are now building monumental edifices across the country greatly conducive to the improvement of the people's living standard under the uplifted slogan "Let us do more good things for the people". They give sincere labor and material assistance to the workers in production drive and protect people's lives and properties at the risk of their lives. Deeply moved by the kindred and comradely love of the service personnel, many units and workers in different parts of the country sincerely assist service personnel. A great number of graduates from secondary schools across the country are volunteering to join in the Korean People's Army to devote their youth to the defence of the country.

The above-said beautiful traits are an expression of immense pride and confidence of certain victory by the army and people of the DPRK advancing under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
