Lee Myung Bak Regime Ridden with Scandals
Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak regime rotten to its core is on the verge of collapse.

No sooner had rat-like Lee come to power than trumpeted "it would be a morally perfect regime" and "there would be no scandal among his confidants during the tenure of his office."

Nowadays he finds himself in such deplorable position that he seems to be dumb.

The rat-like Lee group is called "corrupt regime", "ditch-like regime", "regime of rags" and "department store of scandals".

Rat-like Lee is the kingpin of all scams in south Korea.

While working at Hyundai Construction Co., he was involved in the Hyundai apartment houses special sale, sparking off public uproar. It was disclosed that he was managing 1,313 phyong of Togok land in Kangnam District after registering it in 1985 in the name of his wife's brother only to experience a hot agony of shame. When he was Seoul mayor, he committed a scandal which helped his family and relatives make undue profits through real estate speculation. In 1993 he was involved in the flower village speculation case in Socho-dong by taking advantage of the development of Socho-dong area.

He became so upbeat after becoming "president" that he has committed hideous scams one after another.

He was also the chief culprit of BBK case and a license scandal, social problems still left unsolved since 2007.

While living in a deluxe mansion worth 3,580 million won in Ronhyon-dong, Kangnam District, he committed the Naegok-dong housing lot purchase scandal in which he spent a stupendous amount of money stained with sweat and blood of people under the pretext of building his house after his retirement.

Out of his families and relatives more than 100 persons are blacklisted as "dangerous elements" likely to be involved in scandals and 13 of them have already been suspected of scams or are behind bars. Countless are scandals committed by his elder cousin, wife's brother, cousins-in-law and niece's husband, etc. including the bribery case in which the former aide of his elder brother Lee Sang Duk was involved.

Scandals were also committed by his confidants holding important posts of the regime. Involved in scandals were the members of the "six-men society" who zealously backed the rule of rat-like Lee group of traitors after holding enormous power for playing a big role in installing the "pragmatic regime."

It was disclosed that Choe Si Jung, known as a "political advisor" to Lee, received a large amount of money from a construction company for giving license to the development project in Ryangjae-dong, Seoul and spent it for conducting an opinion poll during the 2007 "presidential election." This forced him to resign from the post of chairman of the Broadcasting and Communication Committee.

Various scams disclosed in an unbroken chain included the enveloped money case of the former senior secretary for political affairs of Chongwadae, the bribery case worth a hundred million won of the former vice-minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the hideous bribery case of the former vice-minister of Knowledge Economy and the bribery case of the former manager of the Seoul City Railway Corporation.

Some days ago, Kim Chan Gyong, former president of the Mirae Savings Bank, was detained on charges of illegal loan and expropriation of 500 billion won and Im Sok, president of the Solomon Savings Bank, was imprisoned on the charge of whisking away 17 billion won from the bank and illegal loan of 150 billion won.

A total of 50 minister-level persons have been appointed through 16 cabinet reshuffles till now. 45 of them have records of involvement in corruptions such as real estate speculation, tax evasion, paper plagiarism, conscription evasion and false moving-in. The biggest encyclopedia of scandals in history is being compiled by families and relatives of Lee Myung Bak and those in power. This is the assertion of south Korean media.

Scandals can never be brought to an end in south Korea as long as the hotbed of corruption and the chief culprit of immorality are allowed to be at large.

Such human scam as rat-like Lee Myung Bak group should be eliminated as early as possible.
