Selection of KCU Delegates Finished in DPRK
Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- A work has been finished to select delegates to the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Kim Nam Chol, department director of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, told KCNA:

"The selection of the KCU delegates was conducted under the deep care of the Party and the State and amid the expectation of all the people.

Attending the forthcoming celebrations of the KCU anniversary in Pyongyang will be 20,000 delegates selected in provinces, cities and counties across the country. Most of them are schoolchildren from industrial areas including coal mining districts, rural areas, solitary islets and remote mountain villages.

The delegates have distinguished themselves in study and KCU organizational life and in do-good-thing campaign including rabbit-raising and tree-planting.

They and their parents as well as their schools and villages are now in an ecstasy of joy."
