DPRK Children Mark Int'l Children's Day
Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- Children of the DPRK marked International Children's Day on June 1.

The nurseries, kindergartens, parks and recreation grounds across the country were crowded with happy children and their kindergarteners and parents in holiday dresses.

There took place colorful sports and amusement games and art performances at Kim Jong Suk Nursery, Ryugyong Nursery No. 1, the Ryonhwa Nursery, the Changgwang Kindergarten, Pyongyang Tangsang Kindergarten No. 2 and Taesongsan and Moranbong recreation grounds.

Children in different parts of the country also enjoyed their holiday in excitement.

Among them are iron bases such as the Kangson Steel Complex and the Sonjin Steel Complex and machine-building factories in Taean and Rakwon and fertilizer-production bases in Hungnam and Namhung and co-op farms in Samjigang of Jaeryong County, Tongbong of Hamju County, Sinam of Ryongchon County and Unhung of Thaechon County.

Children held meetings to tell about their prides and sports and amusement games.

They vividly showed their happiness of bringing their hope and talents to full blossom as king of the country.
