S. Korean Paper Slams Prosecution for Its Reckless Suppression
Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- The south Korean paper Hangyore in an editorial on May 29 condemned the puppet prosecution for its reckless suppression.

The editorial recalled that on May 20 the prosecution filed a suit against the manager of the Internet newspaper Surprise on the charge of "intimidation" for the mere reason he posted on it an article openly critical of Lee Myung Bak.

The charge of "special threat" made by the prosecution is absolutely unreasonable, the editorial held, adding:

The prosecution also brought the charge of "intimidation" against a personage who is under investigation on the charge of libel for the mere reason that he posted on an Internet website an animation file showing the nose of rat-like Lee Myung Bak.

The legal circles assert that they can hardly understand the action taken by the prosecution to punish the personage on charge of "intimidation" for expressing his political view, the editorial stressed.
