Nigerian Figures Praise DPRK

Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- Members of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association who participated in the celebrations of the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung expressed their impressions of the visit to the DPRK on May 24. The secretary of the Association said that his delegation participated in the celebrations and visited Mangyongdae, the secret camp on Mt. Paektu and various other places. He added that the statues of the peerlessly great men were successfully built on Mansu Hill and the members of the delegation had the supreme honor of seeing the dear respected Kim Jong Un and hearing his speech at the military parade commemorating the 100th Day of the Sun. The celebrations and tour of various places helped them witness the sense of organization, unity and militant spirit of the Korean people and invincible might of the heroic Korean People's Army which grew up to be a matchless army, he stressed. Ibrahim Mantu, former deputy president of Senate of the National Assembly who doubles as chairman of the Association, said that during his stay he saw the boundless reverence of the Korean people for Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and their indomitable will to carry forward and accomplish the cause of preceding leaders to the end united close around supreme leader Kim Jong Un. M. M. Alhassan, chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea who doubles as secretary general of the Association, noted that he witnessed the reality of the DPRK maintaining an independent stand and dynamically accelerating the building of a thriving nation despite the imperialists' sanctions and pressure, being guided by the Juche idea and the Songun idea. The Juche idea and the Songun idea serve as powerful ideological and moral wealth that guarantees the popular masses a genuine life as independent human beings, he stressed. |
