The paper on May 28 said that people related to Iran had hatched plots to kill foreign diplomats in several countries over the last year.

In this regard, he disclosed that the groundless assertion made by the paper was a fabrication invented by the U.S. administration pursuant to its policy to put illegal pressure upon Iran.

Noting that Iran has been a major victim to terrorism and thousands of Iranian citizens including scientists have been targets of the organized terrorism, he stressed that his country has consistently been opposed to any form of terrorist acts.
