Noble Outlook on Posterity Carried Forward in DPRK

Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- Delegates to the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union have been warmly welcomed by Pyongyang citizens everywhere they go. Most of them are sons and daughters of workers, farmers and disabled soldiers and orphans as well. The noble outlook on the posterity kept by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, who regarded children as the kings of the country, has been invariably carried forward by the dear respected Kim Jong Un. When visiting Mangyongdae Revolutionary School on the lunar New Year's Day, Kim Jong Un was afraid for students wearing no gloves in cold weather, warming their faces with his hands. In its mess hall, he touched a bowl to see if Onban (cooked rice served in chicken soup) that a student was eating was hot. On the campus in the twilight, he promised teachers of the school to send lawn to cover the playground and in an indoor stadium, he instructed them to flatten the floor to prevent students from being injured. Touring the Kyongsang Kindergarten, he saw a performance given by its children and had a photo taken with them. Going round the newly-built Changjon Primary School, he was satisfied with desks and chairs made to suit young pupils. While visiting the Children's Department Store, he told officials that he was hardening his determination to devotedly serve the children, the future of the country. Kim Jong Un is, indeed, identical to Kim Il Sung, who took out 20 won as cost for making new clothes for the Children's Corps members in Maanshan during the anti-Japanese armed struggle, and to Kim Jong Il, who made uninterrupted inspection tours of military units to defend the happiness of children. |
