Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- Among the delegates to the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU), those from South Hamgyong Province Monday went to Okryu Restaurant on the banks of the River Taedong to take tray-noodle topped with minced meat, a specialty in Pyongyang. Choe Hui Ran (27), a KCU instructor of Kwangmyong Primary School, told KCNA: "I am fascinated by the architectural beauty of Okryu Restaurant. It is acme of beauty, delicacy and elegancy. Chandeliers look like cluster of cotton when seen from one side and snowflakes from the other side. Floors studded with jewels are amazing. Soft chairs and beautiful flowers on the tables in the dining halls of peculiarly architectural design are all fascinating." Pak Kwang Guk (13), a delegate from Songwon Secondary School, said: "The tray-noodle topped with minced meat made me mouthwatering. It was really delicious. I had it in a blink." Ri Un Song (12), a delegate from Phyongsu Secondary School, said: "I, daughter of an ordinary worker, have been receiving hospitality as a guest of honor in Pyongyang nowadays. It was the first time for me to take such a delicious tray-noodle with minced meat on top in Okryu Restaurant. My country is the best in the world, as we have the dear respected Kim Jong Un, who projects children as the king of the country." Choe Un Jong (11), a delegate from Tonghung Primary School, said: "I was carried away by the view the moment I entered the dining hall. The hall was spacious and I could see the River Taedong through the window. Having taken a meal in this restaurant, I came to harden my pledge to study harder to live up to the loving care shown by the dear respected Kim Jong Un." |
