S. Korean Prosecution Accused by Opposition Party Member

Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- The chairman of the fact-finding group for the illegal investigation into civilians under the Democratic United Party of south Korea accused the prosecution of trying to draw the veil over the illegal investigation, subservient to power. A press interview was held at the "National Assembly" building on June 2, according to KBS of south Korea.

The prosecution just inquired former and incumbent secretaries of Chongwadae as part of the investigation and announced that there is no need to further the investigation, the chairman said.

This showed that the prosecution had no idea to reveal Chongwadae's involvement in the above said issue, he said, adding the investigation was conducted in tail-cutting and overlooking way.

He called for deposing Minister of Justice Kwon Jae Jin who was senior presidential secretary for civil administration of Chongwadae at the time of illegal investigation into the civilians, and making public the truth behind the issue.
