KCU Delegates Visit Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace
Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- South Hamgyong provincial delegates to the celebrations of the 66th birthday of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) visited the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on Tuesday.

The palace employees and hobby group members warmly welcomed the delegates, who paid tribute to the pictures of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il with broad smile on their faces in the front side of the palace.

Being briefed on the fact that the palace had been built into an extracurricular education center under the loving care of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu, they toured hobby group rooms of the palace.

Jo Hyon Sok, a delegate from the Hasinhung Secondary School in Songchongang District, Hamhung City, told KCNA:

"It is the first time for me to visit the palace. I had often seen it on TV but I did not expect it to be such big and nice. When I come back to the school, I will tell my impression on the visit."

Kim Un Hyang, a delegate from the Mandok Secondary School in Hochon County, said:

"It was very impressive to see the accordion concert. I felt an impulse to play the accordion. The county where I live has a schoolchildren's hall of culture. Not only I but other classmates cultivate talents in different hobby groups after school. I will work harder to become an excellent student equipped with ample knowledge, high morality and strong body."

Ho Su Gyong, a delegate from the Paekgumsan Secondary School in Tanchon City, said:

"I toured various hobby group rooms including those for Kayagum and traditional dance with a great interesting. In particular I learned a lot of things at the gift animal specimen hall.

I will study harder to become an excellent zoologist."

Ri Hye Yong, KCU instructor at the Soun Primary School in Tonghungsan District in Hamhung City, said:

"The celebrations will remain vivid in the delegates' lifetime.

I will do my best to bring up the KCU members as ones intensely faithful to the dear respected Kim Jong Un, bearing this auspicious event in my mind."
